Ladder Assist Services

Helping adjusters in the field when needed.

Safe Roof Access

Hancock believes in safety first. Why take chances sending an adjuster up on a high or steep roof? With Hancock Claim’s Ladder Assist Service, it’s our specialty to climb high or steep roofs to perform an inspection. We meet the adjuster on site with the proper equipment to safely access those roofs and complete a thorough inspection. This allows the adjuster to safely assess the damage, even from
the ground if needed.

How Ladder Assist Works

A highly-trained Hancock inspector meets the insurance adjuster on site, safely sets the ladder, and accesses the roof so the adjuster never has to leave the ground. The inspector photographs every slope, records precise measurements, and shares all findings with the adjuster once back on the ground.

Keeping Adjusters Safe and Grounded

Your adjusters no longer need to be exposed to the risks of steep pitches and multi-story roofs because Hancock’s trained and experienced inspectors can safely navigate these roofs. This reduces the risk of injuries that drive up workers’ compensation costs and adjuster stress. It also avoids delays when roof height exceeds carrier safety thresholds, and gives your adjusters peace of mind.

Complete & Accurate Documentation

Your Hancock inspector gives you complete and accurate documentation, including a full inspection photo set and diagram of the roof, before leaving the property. These combined files exceed carrier requirements and enable the adjuster to settle the claim with confidence.
